Timber species: Southern Beech 19x130mm
Southern Beech – is a hardwood timber with Janka hardness rating of 6.4, comparing to American oak of 6 is a little harder then oak. Southern Beech mostly found on the North East of Victoria and South coast of NSW. The timber color are made of pale brown Heartwood and lighter sapwood with some occasional pinkish tones. It is a great alternative to the Blackbutt timber flooring, which has a similar blonde appearance. It would greatly benefit your home to look more spacious and rooms will appear more bigger.
It comes in three grades : select, standard, feature and two widths sizes 85mm and 130mm. The most economical option would be 85mm width and feature grade.
