Quick-Step Amato – the world-first watertight timber floor. All floorboard’s are finished with highly durable surface and edge protect+ (hydro-repellent technology) finish.

Amato Slate Grey Oak engineering flooring is made from European Oak, featuring natural beauty with original knots and cracks. Two long sides of the boards are designed with bevel edges, in order to accentuate the width and lengthy appearance.

Detail installation instructions are available under the download tab. We always recommend installing engineering timber floors with a direct stick glue-down technique using at least a 5mm notched trowel. The subfloor surface where timber flooring is being installed must be structurally sound, dry, and clean of oils, paints, floor coatings, loose concrete, or any other material which could cause a failing adhesion between the engineering timber floor and subfloor. The subfloor should not deviate more than 3mm over the 1-meter distance in any direction. Always must be a minimum 10mm expansion gap around the perimeter and depending on the layout and some intermediate expansion gaps.
