Timber species: Queensland Spotted Gum.
Queensland Spotted Gum: with Janka rating of 11 is one of the premium Australian timber species. It grows along the East coast of NSW. The color ranges from light brown to dark red brown hues. It is very durable timber, which can sustain heavy traffic load. In general Queensland Spotted gum is a little darker in color compare to NSW Spotted gum.
Installation: Secret nails, glue.
Substrate : Over the battens, plywood, yellow tounge, existing timber flooring.
