It is mainly used in heavy construction, engineering and flooring industry. Heartwood appearance ranges from reddish to dark brown and lighter sapwood. Grey Ironbark has tight and straight, occasionally interlocking grain. It is a termite resistant timber and heartwood class 1 durability above the ground.
